It is a quick read. I got through it in a day, put I did put it down a lot. The writing, the pace, the plot, and the characters were all great, but I just could not get into it – probably because I’m not the target audience. I think teenagers would really like this.

I love Shakespeare. I love retellings. And this happens to be a Shakespearean retelling. At first, I wasn’t too sure about this story because of the setting – I didn’t think it would be something I could get behind, but somewhere along the way, I ended up invested in the characters, rooting for them. It was one of those stories I didn’t realize I enjoyed until I finally finished it.

I am out of practice. I had not picked up an actual camera for two years and had not taken any real pictures since either. This book felt like a good first step to regain my footing. And the photos included in the book were all so beautiful – tranquil, I think, would be a good word. Total 5/5.
I am so hopelessly in love with this book – I could not put it down for a moment. I finished it the same day that I received it. It is so difficult to describe this story without ruining it or underselling it, but a word that comes to mind is colorful.
this was an okay book. entertaining, sure. it kept me busy for an hour or two, but i didn’t find memorable. but that’s just because it just wasn’t my sort of story – it is good an well-written, and I can see plenty of people enjoying the story and the characters. it was simply not for me. that’s all. not the author’s fault.

Leigh’s done it again. I am not a DC fan. I have always preferred Marvel. But Wonder Woman was always a soft spot. Leigh’s done a fantastic job with this project. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series by Marie Lu! I’m so, so glad I had the opportunity to read this. It had everything you could want from a superhero book.

Cute little flyers. Not much to say. I like the aesthetic to them. Each is different from the other. I’ve never really ever seen posters like these. I adore them. All I know is that these are going to be hanging up in my room from now until God knows how long.

I just got back into painting and I am so out of practice. This book helped me out tons – it’s extremely helpful and it’s gorgeous too. A couple days after I started using it as a guide, I’ve improved. Not as good as I used to be yet, but this made the relearning process so much faster.

I loved the premise, but the execuation sort of just… fell flat. I wasn’t attached to the characters, didn’t end up caring for them at all. It was a quick read, fitting for the season, but I don’t know if I would really reccomend this to anyone. The writing itself (stylistic) was fine. There was nothing WRONG with the book, but there was nothing paticularly good about it either.
